Jamestown Police have made several arrests following recent domestic incidents in the city. They include the following:
On April 5th, officers responded to an address on the city's west side for a report of an unwanted person at about 2:30 PM. On arrival, officers found that 21-year Mariah Crandall allegedly violated an order of protection issued by Jamestown City Court. Crandall was charged with 2nd-degree criminal contempt.
On April 6th, officers were called to an address on the city's south side shortly after 10:45 PM for a past-tense domestic incident. An investigation revealed that 42-year-old Michael Peterson allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with a female victim in front of one of their children. Peterson was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
On April 13th, Jamestown Police responded to an address on the west side just after 11:30 PM and found that 53-year-old Sheri Hawkins allegedly damaged property during the course of that domestic incident. Officers arrested Hawkins and charged her with 4th-degree criminal mischief.
On April 15th, officers were called to an address on the city's east side shortly before 9:45 PM. An investigation discovered that 22-year-old Selena Santiago allegedly threw a cell phone at a window, causing the window to break. Santiago was taken into custody without incident on a charge of 4th-degree criminal mischief.
On April 17th, police responded to a location on the city's west side for a physical domestic incident. Officers say 53-year-old Kevin Bellardo was found to have physically restrained the victim why she was trying to leave. Bellardo was charged with 2nd-degree unlawful imprisonment.
On April 22nd, Jamestown Police were called to a past-tense domestic incident on the city's north side shortly after 9:45 AM. Officers say 50-year-old Richard Hamling III used a towel to apply pressure to the victim's neck, impeding their breathing. He was located a short time later and taken into custody on a charge of criminal obstruction of breathing or blood flow.
