A Brocton man was taken into custody on an impaired driving charge as the result of a traffic stop in the Town of Ellicott on September 11th. According to Ellicott Town Police, 35-year-old Steven Seavy was arrested shortly after 9:15 AM after officers pulled over a vehicle for numerous traffic violations. Seavy was allegedly found to be driving while under the influence of drugs. He was charged with DWAI-drugs, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to use designated lane, and driving on the shoulder of a road. Seavy will answer the charges in Ellicott Town Court at a later date.
