Services at The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua
Sunday, January 16 2022 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua, located at 222 Temple Street in Fredonia, continues to offer Sunday services at 11 am through the Zoom platform to ensure everyone’s health and safety. For those wishing to join us, please visit https://tinyurl.com/caluucnc. Just click on “Worship Service” on the date you are attending and scroll down for the Zoom link. In January, all our services will reflect the theme of “Living with Intention”. On January 16, please join us for “You Don’t Have to Set Yourself on Fire to Keep Others Warm”, with member Jess Lustig as the speaker. This service aims to examine the “fire of commitment” portion of our UU chalice extinguishing words. With words and music, we will explore how we can be light and warmth in the world without burning ourselves Jess Lustig is a costume artisan and a mom who struggles daily with finding that balance. She hopes to bring the personal to the larger picture and reassure all of us that we are enough. The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua strives to be a vibrant, welcoming, multigenerational, diverse community enlivened by the power of radical love. We are a congregation that nurtures acceptance, spirituality, and growth while guided by Unitarian Universalist Principles. We provide a place where people engage together through fellowship, celebration, social outreach, environmental action, and transformative justice.
