The Sheridan VFW Auxiliary Post 6390 is having a chili cook-off on March 12 from 12:00 to 2:00pm at the post. There will be a first prize of $75, a second of $50 and a third of $25. In addition to the prizes there will be a door prize raffle for two different baskets. It is $5 to enter the contest. This may be done by visiting the club in person or calling (679-6011). Samples on the day of the event will be 3 for $5 and you may purchase as many sets of three as you like. The monthly flea market at the club is going on at the same time so come and enjoy some shopping and try some chili!!
