Decisions of the Pull Officials will be final. 2. Pull Officials will make final decision on all rules, regulations and specifications. 3. All operators must attend the drivers meeting. 4. Each Weight Class will have on Pull Official in charge. Their duties will be to determine boat placement, track conditioning, amount of weight to add, and make all decisions. This person will have the ability to consult with other Pull Officials. An effort will be made to have a least two officials on the track, or in close proximity, for each class. 5. Speed limit on the grounds is 3 MPH (walking speed). 6. All pulls will start from a tight chain. NO jerking of the boat. 7. Operators must remain seated on their tractor whenever you are on the track. Getting off the tractor to look at the track will result in disqualification. 8. NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES DURING PULL TIME. ZERO TOLERANCE. Violators will be disqualified. 9. Drivers will pull load forward until motion stops or you are flagged by track official. 10. Drivers will watch the flag person and stop immediately when red flagged. Drivers violating this rule will be unable to compete the rest of the day. 11. No Drivers under age of 15. Drivers 15 & 16 shall provide written consent from parent or guardian. 12. Only track officials and assistants on the track during pulls. 13. If something falls off the tractor while hooked to the boat, the driver will be disqualified for that class. 14. Restart is allowed for gear change within three (3) feet. You will not be allowed to do this if you spin out. You are not allowed to re-hook or reposition your tractor. 15. Tractors placing in the top three positions in a class must reweigh immediately after the class is over. 16. Weights may be redistributed on the tractor at any time after weigh-in. 17. Tractor front end raise allowance: 4500# and under = 18“, 5000# and up = 24”. Magnet and chain must be attached to tractor near the front axle and will determine raise distance. Operators flagged for violation of this rule will be allowed to reposition weights on his/her tractor and go to the end of the line to pull the same weight again. The driver will have the opportunity to decide to take their first pull or pull again. If you are red flagged a second time, the pull will be measured there. Radical or unsafe starts will result in disqualification at the Pull Officials’ discretion. 18. In case of a tie for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place; both tractors will re-pull immediately. 19. Tractors will stay within marked boundaries. You will be considered out of bounds when the boat goes over the end-line or when the tractor’s rear tire touches the sideline. If a tractor goes out of bounds, they are not disqualified – they will simply be flagged and a measurement will be taken. 20. The decision to spot the boat will be made by the Pull Official in charge of that class. Every effort will be made to spot the boat in-between rounds. If the boat is spotted during a round, the round will start over from that point. Tractor Specifications 1. Farm Stock is defined as a tractor that could be used on the farm everyday, which includes being able to hook up to any PTO driven implement without altering the drawbar. 2. Pull Officials will make a walk through inspection of all tractors before pull begins. 3. Pull Officials reserve the right to closely inspect any tractor; failure to comply with reasonable requests will result in disqualification. 4. Farm Stock tractors. Models introduced in 1970 and before only. Tractors newer than 1970 will be allowed to pull if that model was being built in 1970 or before. Final interpretations will be made by the Pull Officials. 5. Fuel = only standard gas, diesel, propane or kerosene will be allowed. 6. No turbochargers unless it was original equipment. 7. No tractor shall exceed more than 200 RPM’s over factory specifications. 8. Pull Officials reserve the right to Dyno any tractor and disqualify any tractor that produces 15% more horsepower than they were rated for. 9. Tractor weight mounting brackets must be securely fastened to the tractor; no concrete weights. 10. Unsafe weight mounting will not be allowed. Rods that stick out past the end of the tire will not be allowed unless there are weights on them. (This is strictly for safety reasons). 11. No weight bracket may extend over 2” from the front most part of the tractor (not including front tires). No weights will be allowed behind the rear tires, measured at the rearmost part of the tire. No weights will be hung from the 3 point hitch cross drawbar. 12. All tractors will use original drawbars or close facsimile. No drawplates in place of drawbars, no moving of the drawbars while pulling. 13. All drawbars will be mounted rigid in all directions. Drawbar shall be no closer than 24” from the center of the rear axle to the center of the pin hole. Maximum hook height 19”, measured to the center of the clevis. If a tractor has a Factory Drawbar that does not extend to 24”, the pull officials will make a judgment call. 14. You may reinforce your drawbar to prevent it from breaking or bending. 15. No stripping of tractors to make weight class. This includes tires, hoods, protective shields, PTO’s, hydraulic pumps, etc. 16. Tractors must be equipped with commercially manufactured rubber tires. No radials, cut tires, dual wheels, tire chains or four wheel drives. All wheels and rims will be stock for that model tractor. 17. Tractors must be equipped with a clevis or similar device with a 3” Minimum ID hole for chain hook. 18. No Differential locks will be allowed.
