Pioneer Day
Saturday, November 4 2023 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Bring your K-5th graders for a wonderful program on a child’s life in the 1800’s, presented by the Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village. The presenter will introduce participants to the daily life of 1800’s children including daily chores, a one room schoolhouse lesson and diaries of older children. The children will discover some of these in a hands on activity. The children will be asked to compare their lives to children from long ago. Programming is made possible by the generous support of Humanities New York and Arts for Learning WNY. The Cassadaga Library is delighted to bring this program to all interested families. Please call 716-595-3822 to register your children.
