New York Certified Organic Farmer-to-Farmer Meetings
Tuesday, January 9 2024 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
New York Certified Organic has announced its annual field crop and dairy farmer-to-farmer meetings, designed to help local farmers make connections and build relationships to help them succeed. This year’s meetings will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 9 and Tuesday, February 13 at Jordan Hall on Cornell AgriTech’s Geneva campus and include an informal potluck lunch, presentations from farmers, researchers and industry leaders on topics like inter-seeding, new no-till methods and streamlining the economics of dairy operations. The January meeting will focus on dairy operations and the February program will focus on topics related to field crops. Both sessions are free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to bring a dish to pass. To pre-register, visit https://tinyurl.com/NYCO2024 or leave a message at (315) 787-2432.
