The Youngerman Center for Communication Disorders at the State University of New York at Fredonia will be offering support group meetings for stroke and head injury survivors and family members Spring 2024.The group will meet the first and third Tuesday of the month at 3:00 PM in room E148 Thompson Hall unless otherwise stated. A typical group meeting will include activities to help stroke and head injury survivors use compensatory strategies to improve communication skills, provide educational information and an opportunity to socialize and share experiences. Light refreshments will be provided. The Youngerman Center recognizes that there are individuals in the community whose insurance benefit for therapy has been exhausted but their hopes for improvement have not.
