The hamlet of Ashville has announced that Ashville Days, an annual one-day festival featuring family-friendly activities for all, will take place on Saturday, July 20th. Featured events include a parade, fireworks, craft fair, vendors, garage sales, bike judging contest, live music performances and more.
"We're incredibly excited to bring Ashville Days back and provide a platform for our community to come together and celebrate," said Derek Hosier, Ashville Days Committee President. "This festival is a testament to the spirit and unity of Ashville, and we look forward to creating an unforgettable experience for everyone."
The goal for Ashville Days organizers is to bring residents, visitors, and local businesses to celebrate the hamlet's rich history and close-knit community and vision for the future with a festival filled with fun, entertainment and community spirit.
The day will kick off with a parade in Ashville at 10:00 AM that showcases kids on bikes, floats, local fire departments, and creative entries from local groups. Following the parade, visitors will be able to explore a craft show and vendor fair in the heart of the town at the Ashville Commons in addition to town-wide garage sales taking place during the day. Live music and family-friendly activities will be present throughout the day and Ashville Days will culminate with a fireworks display at the Lower Lake Area Men's Association (LLAMA) Club at 9:30 PM.
The success of Ashville Days relies on the involvement and support of the entire community and volunteers, sponsors and participants are encouraged to join in creating a day of fun for all. Individuals or businesses looking to become involved in Ashville Days and stay up to date on all updates are encouraged to visit the event's Facebook page or e-mail [email protected].
