The Youngerman Center for Communication Disorders at the State University of New York at Fredonia will be offering a support group meeting for stroke and head injury survivors Tuesday, November 19, 2024. A typical group meeting will include activities to help stroke and head injury survivors use compensatory strategies to improve communication skills, provide educational information and an opportunity to socialize and share experiences. Light refreshments will be provided. Meetings are free and open to stroke/head injury survivors and their families. The Youngerman Center recognizes that there are individuals in the community whose insurance benefit for therapy has exhausted but their hopes for improvement have not.
