St. John’s United Church of Christ, 733 Central Avenue in Dunkirk, will hold a special Election Day event. On Tuesday, November 5 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm (or until sold out), an assortment of homemade soups and sandwiches will be available for $7.00 for eat-in or take-out. The varieties of soups are yet to be determined, but the sandwiches will be ham salad, egg salad, and chicken salad. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. (The drawing will be held on November 17.)
