In local high school softball, Fredonia beat Dunkirk 3-0 in a very well played game as Danielle Palisin pitched a 10 strikeout 3 hitter plus had an RBI double at the plate. Callie Dragget also had an RBI double. In other games, Chautauqua Lake beat Frewsburg 17-0 as Cayzlee Johnson pitched a perfect game, Forestville is 6-0 after a 13-1 win over Brocton, Silver Creek won yesterday over Pine Valley 5-2, Westfield beat Cassadaga Valley 16-2 while in baseball, Dunkirk defeated Southwestern 10-5 and Fredonia downed Pioneer 7-6.
