County's Two United Ways Assessing Possible Merger

The United Way's two locations in northern Chautauqua County and southern Chautauqua County are exploring the possibility of a merger into one countywide organization. Local United Way officials, who made the announcement on Friday, say the move is being considered as the result of growing collaboration between both nonprofits. Amy Rohler: stronger and better together
The board of directors of both United Ways will review and vote on a merger proposal in June, as will the membership of UWSCC in July. If the proposal is approved, the two agencies will launch an initial affiliation and begin to work on a joint, countywide fundraising campaign for 2024.
