A new endowment at Jamestown Community College has been launched in memory of a longtime engineering professor at the college. The Daniel F. Courtine Engineering and Workforce Development Endowment was announced this week during a reunion of JCC engineering and technology students at JCC's Manufacturing Technology Institute in Jamestown. An anonymous donor contributed $40,000 to start the endowment and pledged another $40,000 to match future donations. Dr. Courtine, who passed away in May 2024, taught engineering at JCC for 30 years. The new endowment is managed by the JCC Foundation.
