A report of a vehicle leaving the scene of a crash in Jamestown this week led to charges against a 46-year-old man. According to Jamestown Police, officers received the report just before 5:00 AM Wednesday and quickly located the vehicle on the city's south side operating on just a rim. Police pulled over the vehicle and found that the driver, Antwene Fields, was allegedly intoxicated. Fields was taken to the Jamestown City Jail, and a search of his vehicle located a quantity of cocaine. He was charged with DWI, unlicensed operation, unsafe tire, and 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
