
A Sherman man has been charged after allegedly discharging a firearm during an altercation. On Saturday around 5:10 PM, deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office responded to an address in the Village of Sherman and learned that one of the subjects, identified as 36-year-old Cotey Thiem, had allegedly discharged the firearm in close proximity to another individual and residences. After investigation, Thiem was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Mina Court of a charge of 2nd-degree reckless endangerment.
