A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for southeastern Chautauqua County and southern Cattaraugus County until 6:00 PM. At 5:05 PM, radar indicated a severe thunderstorm eight miles east of Frewsburg, moving east at 40 MPH. Potential hazards associated with this storm include 60 MPH wind gusts and penny-size hail. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include Vandalia, Knapp Creek, Carrollton, East Randolph, Onoville, St. Bonaventure, Limestone, Kill Buck, Great Valley, and Busti. This includes I-86 between Exits 11 and 27.
