A Jamestown man was taken into custody after his four-year-old child was seen walking in the middle of a street in just a diaper and a shirt Wednesday evening. Jamestown Police say they were responding to an unrelated emergency call for service shortly before 8:30 PM, when they came across the child in the middle of Lakeview Avenue with no parents around. An investigation found that 30-year-old Tre Frank was in charge of taking care of the child when it got out of the house. The child was eventually reunited with family, and Frank was transported to the Jamestown City Jail to be held pending arraignment on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
