Three men with prior felony convictions were taken into custody after a substantial amount of drugs was seized in a Thursday afternoon raid on Jamestown's south side. Members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the upper apartment of 516 Palmer Street shortly before 4:15 PM following a probe into the sale of various narcotics in the city. The Jamestown Police SWAT Team entered the apartment and located 33-year-old Jamal Jackson of Jamestown, along with 30-year-olds Krystafur Brown and Jamarr Cunningham of Buffalo, inside. A search led to the seizure of approximately 136.1 grams of cocaine, 15.9 grams of crack cocaine, 291.5 grams of fentanyl, 485.3 grams of methamphetamine, a glass bowl for cooking the drugs, plastic baggies, digital scales, and a quantity of cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales. All three suspects were each charged with 1st-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of 2nd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of 2nd-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Jackson, Bowman and Cunningham were arraigned in Jamestown City Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail.
