The Silver Creek Central School District's 7th annual Bald for Bucks fundraiser was a record one. A total of 19 students, staff and alumni recently shed their hair to raise funds for patient care and cancer research at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The district says students and staff this year raised over $7,096, the highest amount the school has raised in a single year since the event debut in 2017. The celebration was a dedication to staff members and the many loved ones who have battled cancer and also served as a beacon of hope.
