A worker at the Resource Center group home in Lakewood is accused of abusing a resident earlier this month. Lakewood-Busti Police say they were called to the scene at 888 Hunt Road shortly before 8:00 PM on May 4th regarding a report the abuse. A witness told officers that 19-year-old Jaydon Work of Celoron had been seen acting in a manner detrimental to the mental and physical well-being of a resident that was under his care. Officers say Work threw a cup at the head of a disabled person. Work was charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent adult. He turned himself into police two days later and was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Town Court at a later date.
