Jamestown Police took a city man into custody after he allegedly menaced someone with a knife late Tuesday afternoon. Officers responded to a report of a person with a weapon at a residence in the northeast part of the city at about 5:00 PM and arrested 39-year-old Douglas Puckett after an investigation. Puckett was charged with 2nd-degree menacing and is being held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
