A Jamestown woman who was known to be wanted by a law enforcement agency out of New Mexico was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon. Jamestown Police and Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies were conducting a joint patrol on the city's south side shortly after 4:45 PM. That's when they saw 46-year-old Deborah Rowland, who is sought by the Rio Rancho Police Department. Rowland was charged with being a fugitive from justice and will be held pending arraignment and extradition.
