SUNY Fredonia's 199th Commencement Set for Saturday

The SUNY Fredonia campus will be filled with celebrations this weekend, as hundreds of students from the Class of 2026 receive their degrees during the university's 199th Commencement. Two ceremonies are scheduled for Saturday at Steele Hall -- one at 10:00 AM, and the other at 3:00 PM. University spokesman Jeff Woodard says more than 800 students will be eligible to participate in Saturday's events on campus...

Senior Class President Hana Gist will also speak at both ceremonies. Lucas West, who recently starred on NBC's "The Voice," will sing the national anthem during the morning ceremony. Both ceremonies will be live-streamed at SUNY Fredonia's website.
