A Fredonia man was charged following a physical altercation that occurred early Sunday morning. Deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence in the Town of Pomfret shortly before 1:30 AM. After an investigation, it was determined that 22-year-old Robert Blakemore had allegedly engaged in the altercation with another person and was taken into custody. Blakemore was charged with 2nd-degree unlawful imprisonment and 2nd-degree harassment. Blakemore was later turned over to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment and will appear in the Town of Pomfret Court at a later date and time.
