The Fredonia Opera House has announced the medalists for its 9th annual 1891 Run. More than 140 runners and walkers registered for the fundraising event on April 26th. The medals were awarded to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as the top three male and female finishers in various age brackets. The top three male finishers, and their respective times, were:
- Cody Kent (age 19, Kennedy), 16:47
- Ed Mercado (age 20, Lake View), 18:21
- Christopher Phelps (age 13, Ripley), 18:21
The top three female runners were:
- Rosie Williamson (age 37, Erie, PA), 20:29
- Sandra Leary (age 41, Fredonia), 21:20
- Gabrielle Hart (age 29, Dunkirk), 23:46
The 1891 Run benefits the theatre's general operations and programming.
