
A Jamestown woman is facing charges stemming from a report of a disturbance in the downtown area of the city early Thursday. According to Jamestown Police, officers received a call for a group of juveniles that were causing a disturbance at about 12:45 AM. They located two juveniles, ages 13 and 14, who were found to have left the home of 38-year-old Katherine Morse. She told officers that she was responsible for both minors, who were allegedly being disorderly throughout the city. Morse, who is the mother of one of the juveniles, was charged with two counts of failure to exercise control of a minor, as well as two counts of curfew violation under the Jamestown City Code. She was held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
