
A wind advisory is in effect for Chautauqua County until 2:00 AM Sunday. According to the National Weather Service in Buffalo, southeast winds 25-35 MPH are expected, with gusts of 50-55 MPH. The strongest winds will occur near the Lake Erie shoreline and along the northwest slope of the Chautauqua Ridge. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down, and a few isolated power outages may result. The southeast winds will be a crosswind on I-90 for high-profile vehicles.
