The Mayville Food Pantry received 1,331 pounds of food as the result of this year's National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) Stamp Out Hunger food drive. The donations were collected by the Mayville Post Office from their postal customers on May 9th. All the food collected will be used to help needy families who live within the Chautauqua Lake Central School District. NALC's annual drive is held in May because most food banks face a depletion in donations from the holiday season.
