
A Dunkirk man has been jailed following an investigation into sex crimes against children in the city. According to State Police, 38-year-old Terry Reynolds was arrested Friday on charges of predatory sexual assault against a child, 1st-degree rape, promoting a sexual performance by a child, and possessing a sexual performance by a child. The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Fredonia, with assistance from the Troop A Computer Crimes Unit, conducted an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation, which determined that Reynolds allegedly possessed and was disseminating child pornography. Troopers say the probe also determined that there were live victims associated with the pornographic material; those victims were located and deposed. During the arrest and search, Reynolds allegedly possessed methamphetamine. As a result, he was additionally charged with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
