A Jamestown man has been charged with animal cruelty after an investigation into a complaint on the city's south side last Saturday. According to Jamestown Police, officers arrived on scene at about 10:15 AM and were told by a female that when she returned home, she saw her pit bull exiting her roommate's bedroom with a charging cord tied around its front paws. The puppy was reportedly yelping and crying as a result. 26-year-old Daysean Braswell-Adams was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, then later released with an appearance ticket for Jamestown City Court.
