Showers and Storms Dump Heavy Rain Over Parts of Chautauqua, Cattaraugus Counties

A period of showers and heavy thunderstorms dumped some significant rainfall over portions of Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties on Thursday. Tony Ansuini: rainfall between Fredonia and western Cattaraugus County

Ansuini says one of the reports was from the New York State Mesonet in Fredonia, which recorded 1.79 inches of rain.
