A Jamestown man is facing a number of charges after he allegedly fired a shotgun in the direction of a victim and their child on Wednesday. Jamestown Police received several calls of a gunshot complaint near a residential street on the city's southeast side at about 8:00 PM. Officers located 43-year-old David Figueroa, who was allegedly found to have fired two 20-gauge slug rounds from the gun towards both individuals. Officers say the gunshots also caused damage to an uninvolved vehicle. Figueroa was charged with two counts of 1st-degree reckless endangerment, plus one count each of 4th-degree criminal mischief and 4th-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
