Budget Calendar, Water Rate Adjustments Among Mayor's Requests of Common Council

With Dunkirk Mayor Kate Wdowiasz no longer attending Common Council meetings, she has put together a list of items she would like city lawmakers to act on. Wdowiasz spoke about some of those items during her first open meeting of city department heads last Friday. She says one thing she will ask the council to put in place is a calendar for the city's 2027 budget process, which has been recommended by the New York State Comptroller's Office for the past two years...
