A Gowanda man has been charged with public lewdness and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child after an investigation into a reported fight in the village Saturday evening. State Police in Collins responded to the scene on South Water Street shortly after 8:30 PM and determined that two young teens were walking on the sidewalk on Buffalo Street when an older male, later identified as 32-year-old Benjamin Cole, allegedly walked in their direction with his genitals sticking out of the front of his pants. Troopers say the teens advised adults, which started the confrontation. Cole was located and arrested, and he was later issued an appearance ticket.
