Officials Cut Ribbon on New Highmark Stadium

The new home of the Buffalo Bills is officially open for business. On Tuesday, the team and elected officials cut the ribbon on the new Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, just over three years after ground broke on the $2.1 billion facility, the largest construction project in the history of Western New York. Kathy Hochul: a 30-year commitment

Approximately 6,000 craft workers were involved in the construction of the stadium, which is located across from the old Highmark Stadium. The facility's first public event will take place on August 8th, when the Bills hold their Blue & Red practice under the lights. The first regular season game at the new stadium is slated for September 17th, also under the lights.
