Two entities in Chautauqua County have been awarded significant chunks of funding through New York's Childcare Capital Construction Funding Program. Governor Kathy Hochul announced Tuesday that the Chautauqua Lake Child Care Center in Mayville will receive $4,734,578, while Jamestown Community College will get $2,895,600. The awards are part of $106 million to support 37 projects that, according to Hochul, will create and expand access to quality child care statewide.
