The Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education has approved the appointment of Nicole Marino to serve as the new Assistant Principal of the Innovation Center at R.R. Rogers School. Marino, currently the Assistant Principal of Jefferson Middle School, will begin her position in August. Marino joined JPS in the winter of 2025, joining Jefferson Middle School with a wide range of administrative experience. She served Sherman Central School for four years as assistant principal and one year as principal. Prior to joining Sherman in 2018, she spent 23 years as a teacher at Randolph Academy. She began her career as a physical education teacher at Clymer Central School and, prior to joining Jamestown, served as a physical education teacher at Southwestern Central School.
Established in 2023, the Innovation Center at R.R. Rogers School has served as an extension of Jamestown High School's technology programs, including its aviation and carpentry courses. Building on that foundation, the district is expanding the Innovation Center into a comprehensive career exploration hub where students will connect with local industries, explore high-demand careers, and participate in hands-on learning experiences, mentorships, job shadowing, and apprenticeships.
