A 10-year-old girl was airlifted to a Buffalo hospital after she got struck by a vehicle while riding a bike in the Town of Portland late Sunday afternoon. The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office says the collision occurred on Route 20 shortly after 5:15 PM and involved a vehicle driven by a 65-year-old woman from Fredonia. The girl was transported by STAT MedEvac to Golisano Children's Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. No charges have been announced. The Sheriff's Office says Portland Fire and Chautauqua County EMS assisted at the scene.
