The Fredonia Fire Department's two newest apparatus were dedicated this week during a ceremony in Barker Common. Members of the department were joined by families and community members for the blessing of Engine 16 and Tower 18 during Festivals Fredonia's 8 Great Wednesdays in the Park. Maytum says both new trucks have been in service for approximately two months. The occasion also provided an opportunity for families to learn fire prevention safety tips, as well as a chance for children to meet with firefighters.
