Fredonia Mayor Mike Ferguson says a couple of local developers have purchased a building in the village's downtown area and have plans to refurbish it. During this week's Board of Trustees meeting, Ferguson made the announcement regarding the Jamestown Mattress Building, formerly the Boardwalk Building, on West Main Street. He says the developers, who have not been revealed at this time, will also renovate the apartments inside and also plan to have a new business located there. Ferguson adds Jamestown Mattress will stay within the facility.
