The Village of Westfield DPW has scheduled a system-wide power outage for Sunday, beginning at 2:00 AM. This planned outage is for the re-energizing of new equipment that was put in place in the village's Bourne Street substation last month. According to the DPW, the contractor estimates that work will be completed and power will be back on within four to five hours.
