A man from the Town of Busti has been arrested after allegedly threatening to kill a neighbor's pets at a residence and the people living there. Lakewood-Busti Police were called to an address on Big Tree Road on Saturday afternoon to investigate and took Thomas Maher into custody without incident. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail pending centralized arraignment on a charge of 2nd-degree harassment.
