Village of Fredonia Finishes in the Black for 2025-2026 Fiscal Year

The Village of Fredonia finished with a positive net income for its 2025-2026 fiscal year, which ended in May. Treasurer Erlyssa LeBeau, who announced the year's final numbers during Monday's Board of Trustees meeting, says the village's year-end revenue amounted to $9,011,886 and expenses totaled $8,507,290, resulting in $504,595 in net revenue gained. LeBeau says the village's general fund balance, as of the end of May, remained in the red by $947,418. She added that the Water Fund ran a deficit of $349,996 and the Sewer Fund lost $148,114 for the fiscal year. Both funds are at $385,834 and $477,140, respectively.
