
The Cattaraugus County Democrat who is challenging incumbent Nick Langworthy for his seat in Congress will hold 100 town hall meetings across New York's 23rd District leading up to Election Day. The first stop on Aaron Gies' tour will be in Jamestown late Thursday afternoon with a visit to the James Prendergast Library at 5:30 PM. According to a spokesperson for Gies' campaign, he will give a brief "State of the District" address and then take questions from the audience. WDOE News has learned from the same spokesperson that Gies will make a total of 16 stops in Chautauqua County, with dates and times to be announced this weekend.
