Mayor Provides Update on Staffing for City Clerk-Treasurer's Office

The Clerk-Treasurer's Office at Dunkirk City Hall has been operating on limited hours for months due to staffing shortages, but it appears it is getting close to expanding back to its regular business hours. During this week's Common Council meeting, Mayor Kate Wdowiasz said that office is now fully staffed, and is waiting on at least one more person to become fully trained. Hours for the Clerk-Treasurer's Office are currently 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Mondays and Wednesdays and 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The secure drop box service has been available.
