A bridge crossing I-90 in southern Erie County has been dedicated in honor of a Thruway maintenance worker who was killed while on the job in the Town of Hanover. State leaders, union officials, the New York State Thruway Authority, and friends and family of Stephen Ebling gathered Thursday for a ceremony at the Eden-Evans Center Road bridge. Ebling, a resident of Eden, served with the NYSTA for 15 years before he was fatally struck by a vehicle on November 4, 2024 just east of Exit 58.
