
A motorcyclist faces felony charges after crashing into a parked car on Jamestown's south side over the weekend. Jamestown Police responded to the intersection of Newland Avenue and Sampson Street shortly after 3:30 AM Saturday. Officers say an investigation determined that 43-year-old Brian Erickson of Jamestown was riding under the influence of alcohol. They also found out that Erickson has three prior DWI convictions within the past 10 years. He was charged with felony DWI, 1st-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and traffic violations. Erickson was arraigned on the charges in Jamestown City Court and is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail.
