
A physical altercation in the Town of Carroll resulted in the arrest of a Jamestown man Tuesday morning. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to an address on Carlberg Road at about 6:30 AM on a report that 26-year-old Jordan Beardsley allegedly got into the altercation with a person who violated an order of protection. Beardsley was charged with 2nd-degree criminal contempt, 2nd-degree aggravated harassment and 2nd-degree harassment. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. State Police and Ellicott Town Police assisted at the scene.
