The 2026 New York State Fair is now open for business. Opening ceremonies were held Wednesday morning at the fairgrounds in Syracuse and included Governor Kathy Hochul cutting the ribbon on a new 10,500-square-foot Future Farmers of America (FFA) building, which is part of a $34.7 million investment in agricultural facilities at the fairgrounds. She also highlighted a series of new and returning agricultural exhibits that will further connect fairgoers to New York agriculture. This year's fair runs through Monday, September 7th.
